LBP AM was awarded the "Sustainable Finance Prize" in the "Asset Management Company" category at the Agefi 2023 Grands Prix, in recognition of our environmental, social and governance commitments, in line with our CSR policy and SRI strategy.
This award highlights those in the asset management industry who are working to address the challenges of sustainable development. Each year, the Sustainable Finance Awards recognise the most outstanding E, S and G commitments, both in terms of the way organisations operate and in terms of their asset management activities.
In 2022 and 2023, LBP AM has redoubled its initiatives in line with the convictions held by all its teams. Notable achievements include the publication of our biodiversity policy, our new CSR roadmap to 2025 and our renewed commitment to making our voice heard in market alliances in favour of preserving the environment and the climate. For example, LBP AM has joined the Net Zero Asset Management initiative to decarbonise portfolios and the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero to standardise transition plans.
"We are proud to have won the Agefi award. It rightly symbolises our desire to foster constructive dialogue with issuers and stakeholders on ESG issues, and to engage companies. It also symbolises our objective: to put our convictions into practice in the interests of all types of performance, both financial and non-financial," says Guillaume Lasserre, Deputy Chief Investment Officer.
"We deploy our CSR actions with a strong desire to align our commitments with our own practices as a company. In 2023, we have defined a new CSR roadmap that will strengthen our commitments and their impact on our employees, the environment and society as a whole," concludes Carolina Viguet, Head of Communications & CSR.
